Shueisha, Inc. (株式会社集英社 Kabushiki Kaisha Shūeisha, lit. Shueisha Publishing Co., Ltd.) is a major publisher in Japan. The company was founded in 1925 as the entertainment-related publishing division of Japanese publisher Shogakukan. The following year, Shueisha became a separate, independent company.

Shueisha publishes the manga magazines, Ribon and Cookie, which Yazawa's works are serialized in. Also Shueisha has published most of her works into volume form, except Paradise Kiss, which was published by Shodensha.
